Do You Require A Wedding Planner?

Heck yes!

For any wedding I book I require you to hire a wedding planner. Having a planner for your day is SO important. Over the years I have realized that when couples do not have a wedding planner that the job of planner gets put on the photographer. As much as I would love to be able to do both jobs it just isn’t possible. When there isn’t a planner and I have to jump into planning mode this causes me to not be able to do my job of photographing moments.

I do not give raw files as it is considered an unfinished product. Also most people do not have a program to open raw files or a place to keep them as they are extremely large files.

I hand select each image for your final gallery. Those images are hand edited by me and ready to go for you. You will have access via an online gallery to view and download your images. There will be print options a well through your gallery but you will have full printing rights to take you photos to get printed anywhere you’d like.

Yes! I have full liability insurance to cover me at any venue or location. I also have full equipment insurance as well.

I require a 1/3rd non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to hold a date for any session or wedding. The retainer is non-refundable because I am closing that date and holding it specifically for you and turning away other work. The retainer can be transferred to a new date one time only, after that there is another non-refundable deposit required.

I am a total freak when it comes to backing up client images. When I am photographing your session/wedding I am shooting on dual cards in my cameras so the images are automatically backed up to a second card. Afterwards I back up the images to 2 external hard drives. The final step in my process is that I do not delete the images off of the cards until the final images are delivered to the client.

This is such an important question! I have a solid network of photographers who help each other out covering sessions and weddings. If I get sick, or something worse then that network goes into affect and someone will be covering for me.

YES! Every package includes 3 rolls of 35mm at no charge. Add additional rolls for $250 each.

Absolutely! Travel has my heart and I would be happy to travel to whatever destination your wedding may be in. I’ve traveled all over the Bahamas, Central America and even as far as South Africa to document weddings. Inquire about custom wedding pricing for destination weddings.
