Leah + Brian The Bonnet House and Gardens Wedding {South Florida Wedding Photographer}

The Bonnet House and Gardens are literally one of my favorite South Florida venues. It is a hidden gem that is right at the beach in Ft. Lauderdale but you would never know when you are inside the venue. It is a tropical oasis filled with palms, banyan trees, and a beautiful lake. It really is a one of a kind place. Leah and Brian chose this venue because they wanted their wedding to be super laid back and have an easy flow to the day. They initially wanted an intimate wedding but knew that was impossible given the size of their families. Even though they had large families it still felt so intimate!

Leah and Brian put full trust in me to photograph their day and I appreciated that so so much. Brian, being a photographer himself, really wanted those out of the box photos and Leah was ready to take any direction I gave her. When the wedding day came these two were a dream because their love was so apparent I didn’t need to guide them in any way. From their emotional first look to their ceremony where Leah’s dad married them to the party, it was a breeze of a day.

I loved the color palette that Leah and Brian chose. They went with lots of greenery with a few white flowers and pastel tones for the bridesmaid’s dresses. They knew they didn’t want to take away from the beauty that the venue already had so they kept things simple.
