Ellie + Kyles Romantic Sunset Adventure Elopement in the Florida Keys

Ellie and Kyle’s Islamorada adventure elopement was so sweet and intimate. They had originally set a destination wedding in the Bahamas in early April of 2020 but as everyone knows the pandemic hit and changed everyones plans. They rescheduled for the fall but it just wasn’t in the cards for them to have their intimate wedding in the Bahamas. They took everything in stride and with the best attitudes and decided to elope in the keys so that I could still be a part of their wedding plans. It was such an honor to document this day for them.

The weather was perfect, the lighting amazing. Cheeca Lodge set them up in a private area to have their own romantic beachside ceremony and dinner. They said I do to each other as the sun was setting. Enjoyed some champagne and a sweet first dance under the palm trees at dusk.

I’m am SO looking forward to many more intimate weddings and elopements this coming year. Its really bringing weddings back to what they should be about and that is the couples love for one another.
