April + Michael Jupiter Elopement {South Florida Elopement Photographer}

I have been waiting so long to post this beautiful elopement for April and Michael. These two are literally one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with. Their love brought them together from opposite ends of this earth through a music app (thats right, not a dating app). April took a chance and hopped on a plane from Australia to Florida to meet Michael for their first date. I know, it sounds like something right out of a movie right??

They booked a cute airbnb in Jupiter to get ready in. While getting ready Michael filled me in on all the fun things they like to do together, such as going to punk shows. Michael couldn’t contain his emotions when talking about April. My heart was bursting!! April’s family contacted all the way from Australia to pick up some champagne for them as a surprise. I presented it to them during their cake cutting, it was awesome!

We headed to Riverbend park for some fun portraits and then ended our day at Johnathan Dickenson park for a sunset ceremony. We were blessed with an amazing sunset (thank goodness because I brought them there specifically for that haha) After the ceremony, April and Michael shared a nice cheers with their favorite beers….one thing I have learned from Australians is they love American beer especially Budweiser. The day wouldn’t have been complete without them popping that bottle of champagne and taking in all that the day was.

Elopements are a great way to have a stress free wedding day. I love the fact that it gives me a chance to really get to know my clients and have a more intimate experience with them. It also allows for us to pretty much do whatever we want! As fall approaches and so much is hanging in the balance for couples who are planning on getting married this year, I’m hoping that couples decide to go ahead and get married, even if it is on a smaller scale for now.
