Ana and Nate’s snowy Northern Michigan engagement session was so much fun! We managed to catch a winter storm that brought so much beautiful snow for the session.
Ana and Nate are true Michiganders and showed this born and raised Florida girl how to have fun in the snow. Of course, their dog Topper came along to0. He was happy to be at his favorite park with his favorite humans.
Since I am new to Michigan I was open to ideas on location. They are very fun and outdoorsy people and they knew they wanted an outdoor location. Nate is a big fan of winter and the snow so he was game to adventure outside. Ana had suggested Brown Bride Quiet Area for their session as it is a place they love to go together with their dog Topper.
The park was literally like photographing inside a snow globe! Beautiful snow covered trees surrounded by a flowing river.
After the park we headed to downtown Traverse city to capture some city vibes.
Making the move from Florida to Michigan has been a big decision! Meeting people like Ana and Nate, as well as all the other couples I have met and will be working with, have made me realize it was the best decision I could have made.
Northern Michigan is full of some of the nicest people and most beautiful landscapes imaginable. I can’t wait to share all the adventures I will be having coming up very soon!!!
