Maggie and Michael’s Delray Beach wedding took place on Michael’s family’s private 10-acre estate. This place is absolutely stunning. There are modern bungalows surrounded by nature trails, a lake and 100 year old pines. If you love old florida, you would love this place. Michael also proposed to Maggie here so it is a very special place to them. This place was designed as a place to gather with friends and family and was a perfect setting for the wedding.
When I first met Maggie and Michael I felt an instant connection with them. They both love adventure and have traveled the world together (they went heliboarding for the honeymoon!) The two of them met at the University of Denver, Michael had dreadlocks down to his waist and Maggie was the president of her sorority, as the saying goes opposites attract. They now reside in Baltimore where Michael is a writer (his dad is a well known writer and publisher) and Maggie is a commercial interior designer. Having similar interests in good food, good drinks and good friends I knew their wedding was going to be epic and they didn’t dissapoint.
Maggie and Michael wanted this day to be magical and elegant but also to be one big party. This is exactly how I would describe that day. Friends and family flew in from all over the world to celebrate with the couple, and party they did. Oh! There was a tequila donkey too! So thankful to get to be a part of days like these. I literealy felt like one of the guests all day. It was perfect.
Special thanks to all the amazing vendors who made this day happen:
