The Call of Summer is an Australian based bikini brand. These suits cater to women who have a smaller cup size like me! I was so excited to work with this company as it is hard as a smaller busted woman to find good swimwear that isn’t stuffed with tons of padding or looks like a wiry push up bra. These suits fit so perfectly and are very comfortable.
The owner, Kate Webster, is an amazing photographer so I was very nervous to photograph her bikini’s. It’s a lot of pressure to shoot something for another photographer! She had posted in a Facebook group I was a part of looking for someone in the states to shoot her fall line. I immediately commented on her post as soon as I saw her swimwear. We skyped early one morning ( I was in my pjs because of the time difference but she didn’t care ha). We chatted for a while and both knew instantly that we were a great fit. Her vision was to have her bikini’s showcased in Florida style, lots of greenery and color. She also wanted to avoid the beach (hallelujah!)
I quickly put this shoot together with some awesome local models as well as a full team of great local vendors. I’m so lucky to have so many creative friends who are always there to help me put together last minute shoots. We explored around Briny Breezes shooting in the awesome old Florida neighborhood. The models killed it of course and we created some awesome imagery for Kate.
